Fiorentina midfielder Edoardo Bowe has undergone surgery to install a pacemaker after collapsing on the pitch earlier this month.

http://ufabet999.app Sport reports that Bowe underwent surgery this morning (Tuesday) at a hospital in Florence, where he has been staying since collapsing after a cardiac arrest during a game against Inter on December 1.

The game was suspended and then postponed after Bowe was taken to intensive care. Fortunately, tests on the 22-year-old revealed no problems with his central nervous system or circulation. Bowe

regained consciousness and underwent a series of tests while in hospital for more than a week, before being discharged following the operation.

Bowe’s teammates immediately called for medical help and both sets of players surrounded the 22-year-old while he was being treated before he was swiftly stretchered off to an ambulance near the pitch and taken to Careggi Hospital in Florence.

“Fiorentina and the Careggi University Hospital announce that the footballer Edoardo Bove … is currently under pharmacological sedation and hospitalized in intensive care,” Fiorentina said in a statement.

Having a pacemaker in his body could affect Bowe’s future in Italy, as the country has rules prohibiting athletes from having one.

Christian Eriksen left Inter in 2021 after a similar incident during Euro 2019.

He also had a pacemaker in his body, preventing him from playing in Italy. But he still plays for Manchester United and the Denmark national team.
